How Does Mosquito Misting Work?

When you have Himalaya Pest Control install a mosquito misting system, we put in a state-of-the-art system that's virtually invisible. It disappears into your landscape and operates quietly to provide you, your family, and your guests with constant protection.

Our customizable misting system includes several key components:

• A tankless automatic misting system with access to a faucet and electrical outlet
• Misting nozzles placed every 10 to 15 feet around the perimeter of your property, typically camouflaged by fences, trees, and risers
• Insecticide concentrate in a capped cartridge inserted into the system unit

Around dawn and dusk, the electronic controller releases a 30- to 60-seconds of mist that drifts across your property and settles on the grass and landscaping. Our mist is deadly to mosquitoes, and having it at dawn and dusk ensures that mosquitoes are active while beneficial insects like butterflies and bees are not.

The system operates automatically, and it can be controlled with a handheld remote if you need extra protection.
